Rachel Walker, Deputy Manager
Joining Sunrise has been a dream come true for me. It has been a life- long ambition for me to become a nursing, care home manager. I graduated from the University of West London with a Bsc (Hons) in Adult nursing, and from here on I worked in Emergency Medicine eventually becoming a Sister in A&E. In 2010 I became a Clinical Site Manager, a busy role which focused on the need to facilitate the site from an operational perspective, During this time, I attended night school to study for my MBA and graduated in 2014. I worked as a Site Nurse Practitioner and Clinical Site Manger for a period of 8 years, and during this period I had my two beautiful children, Harriet and Jack.
Now a member of ‘the Sunrise family’ I really feel that I have achieved my ambition. I am so happy to be here and I look forward making some lovely memories with the residents and my fellow colleagues. I feel privileged to work in such a beautiful place, I am dedicated to ensure that Sunrise of Bagshot continues to provide person centred care for all residents, and that we strive to spread joy and love within our community!
