Our story

It was back in 1981 that the very first Sunrise opened its doors, founded by Paul and Terry Klaassen. Since then, our approach to providing the best possible lifestyle for each resident – based on individual preferences and needs - has remained unchanged.

Dining and nutrition

Time spent around the table together is an essential part of life at Sunrise. Our dining rooms are designed for great food and good conversation; the hub for special occasions and seasonal meals – our Christmas dinner is legendary!

Sunrise’s residents enjoy a choice of three delicious, well-balanced meals, prepared from scratch and featuring a variety of menu choices that support each resident’s unique nutritional needs. We use only the best suppliers. All our meat, for instance, comes from Donald Russell – the same butcher who supplies the British Royal Family.
